Putin: "Fight against extremism must be decisive."

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Prosecutor General of Russia to respond decisively to attempts to incite ethnic and religious hatred during a meeting of the expanded board of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports Voice of Russia correspondent.
The President cited radical groups that act "provocatively," hold public rallies and openly recruit supporters and said constant attention must be paid to the issue of combating extremism.
President Putin said that last year the number of such crimes increased by almost 12%.
In the fight against such crimes the head of state said action must be consistent and based on the law.
