Japan Supreme Court rejects lawsuit against parliamentary polls

The Supreme Court of Japan has rejected a lawsuit against the results of last year’s parliamentary elections, news reports said on Wednesday.
Filed by a group of lawyers, the document was based on the fact that there was a wide disparity of votes across all the parties, with no majority winner, something that the Supreme Court admitted was a “state of unconstitutionality.”
