Google adds scores of FBI requests to its Transparency Report

Google announced on Wednesday that it has added the FBI’s National Security Letters (NSL) requesting customer information to its latest Transparency Report.
According to the document, Google has annually received 999 NSLs since 2009.

The FBI is allowed to send NSLs without getting a go-ahead from the court, RIA reports.
