Justin Bieber fined for late show

The Canadian pop idol Justin Bieber was allegedly fined £300,000 by Greenwich Council for his delayed gig at London's O2 Arena on Monday.

Bieber arrived on stage two hours late at the venue, where he is said to have been charged £10,000 a minute for going over the O2's strict 11pm live music curfew.

An O2 Arena source said that due to Bieber's set not finishing until gone 11.30pm, he was slapped with the huge fine, MTV UK reports.
