What happens when Prime Minister becomes "Godfather" of a traditional party

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Social Democratic Henchak Party Central Executive Board Chairman Sedrak Achemyan, executive board member Vazgen Kaltakchyan and SDHP Armenia office head Gevorg Perkuperkyan.
Sedrak Achemyan expressed the desire for a closer relationship with the authorities of Armenia, in response to which Tigran Sargsyan pointed out, “Armenia’s and the whole nation’s interests call for powerful traditional parties.”
Referring to the February presidential election, Sedrak Achemyan noted, “At our latest meeting you expressed belief that we were in for a free and transparent presidential election in Armenia: we can state now that Armenia’s authorities had the political will to reach this goal: the recent election was a step forward as evidenced by international organizations. I am congratulating the President-elect and yourself for progress.”
Once the Democratic Liberal Party, headed by Harutyun Arakelyan, was an opposition party. However, Harutyun Arakelyan's main target of criticism was to make Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan's and his family's corruption transactions loud.
After Prime Minister's intervention, this traditional party's Armenian wing was divided (Hakob Avetikian founded Armenakan Democratic Liberal Party), after which Democratic Liberal Party's issue was discussed. Harutyun Arakelyan announced that he was the Chairman, newly elected Chairman Edward Antinyan announced himself, which also did not last too long and eventually lasted in Arakelyan's emigration. Harutyun Arakelyan, being accused of illegal sales of party's offices and other similar sales, lost in Armenian political life, they say he has found political asylum in European countries.
So, in all likelihood, this "pawerful traditional party" (Premier's wish) is not left too long...
