Mitt Romney gets job at son’s firm
USA
Gov. Mitt Romney will serve as chairman of the executive committee at Solamere Capital, his son Tagg Romney’s investment firm, the Politico reported, Reuters reports.
He is expected to advise one week a month, focusing on issues involving private equity, and doesn’t plan to fundraise, the report said. Solamere Capital did not immediately provide POLITICO with a comment.
In November, former aides to Mitt Romney told the Associated Press that Romney had started subletting office space at Solamere.
