A festival of Italian films, called “From Venice to Moscow”, will soon open in Moscow.

Taking part will be films that were shown at the 69th Venice Festival, plus several feature films and documentaries that have been never shown in Russia.

The program will include films of various genres – light comedies, passionate melodramas, acute political satire and philosophical diaries of both well-known and young and beginning filmmakers.

The organizers hope that this variety of genres will help spectators to better understand the multifaceted spirit of Italy, TASS reports.
