Medvedev urges 10% annual export increase

The share of high-tech products in Russia’s exports should increase by 10% a year, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told the government on Thursday, a Voice of Russia correspondent reports.
Exports should outstrip the global trade dynamics, the premier said. Among key priorities he singled out the need to expand the nomenclature of goods, the geography of exports and the share of exported machinery and equipment.
Insurance for export projects should also increase, Medvedev said, Voice of Russia reports.
