Head of Hartashen village is sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment

Syuniq court of first instance satisfied the claim against the head of Hartashen community in Syuniq Marz Azat Ghukasyan for the rape of the minor and inappropriate actions and sentenced him to long-term imprisonment.

According to the materials examined and proved by court, Azat Ghukasyan in November 2011 raped minor A.P. and implemented actions of sexual character against the will of the minor.

The same action was committed in January and February 2012, and later he committed inappropriate actions against the minor.

Syuniq court of first instance with its verdict of 27.02.2013 declared Azat Ghukasyan guilty with article 138 section 2 clause3 and article 142 section 1 of RA Criminal Code and sentenced him to 8 year imprisonment, Pastinfo.am reports.
