Egypt's election committee cancels dates for parliamentary vote

Egypt's election committee has scrapped the dates set for a parliamentary vote after a court ordered the cancellation of President Mohamed Mursi's decree calling the election, state television said on Thursday.
The vote had been due to be held in four stages from April 22 until late June, and the Administrative Court's decision deepened Egypt's political uncertainty at a time of social unrest and economic crisis.
"The Supreme Elections Committee decided to stop the decision that set the dates for the parliamentary elections," the television said, Reuters reports.
