The newspaper writes, "President Serzh Sargsyan, who with a working visit left for Marseille, France, yesterday as an honorable guest took part in the 20th plenary session of the European People's Party (EPP) Congress.

EPP President Wilfred Martens, highlighting in his speech the importance of President Serzh Sarsyan`s presence at the EPP Congress, emphasized that Armenian President visited Marseille in this important day of his country`s history, December 7, the day of the devastating earthquake anniversary which caused the death of thousands of victims in 1988.

He said that he remembered the feeling of solidarity, with which they were saturated to help Armeina. Applying to President S. Sargsyan, the Chairman of the EPP said: "Dear President, you will find the same harmony here also, in the family of the European People's Party. During our first meeting I was impressed by the power of your beliefs, your acute awareness of the situation inside the country and the upcoming implementation of reforms".
