One of the rooms of Armenian Ministry of Energy caught fire.

The fire which broke out at the Armenian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, on Wednesday, at about 18:10pm, was at the Ministry’s Personnel Management Department room, Minister Armen Movsisyan told on Thursday.  

Two brigades of firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Shortly after it started, the fire was eliminated.

According to the Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Yeritsyan, the fire had started from the electricity. “Several computers were damaged, a wooden cabinet and several papers were burnt,” Yeritsyan said. In his words, if the firefighters had arrived late, the damage would have been considerable, since the building had wooden ceilings.
