Multinational drills over in Indian Ocean

Warships from 13 countries have completed anti-piracy and counter-terrorism drills in the Indian Ocean, Turkey’s Anadolu news agency said Saturday.

The AMAN-13 exercise took place in Pakistani territorial waters and featured special operation forces from Pakistan, Turkey, the US, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Italy, China, Bangladesh and Australia.

Another 20 countries, including Russia, have sent their observers.
