Seized UN peacekeepers freed

21 UN peacekeepers taken by the Martyrs of the Yarmouk rebel group have been freed, a UN-Arab League envoy to Syria said Saturday.

The peacekeepers, all Filipinos, were seized Wednesday near the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights.

On Saturday, the rebels agreed to hand them to Jordanian authorities.
