Armenia’s minister of agriculture meets with Lebanese minister of industry.

Armenia’s Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan received on Dec. 8 Minister of Industry of Lebanon Vrej Sabounjian.

The sides pointed out the need for intensifying bilateral economic cooperation. Minister Vrej Sabounjian inquired about industrial products manufactured in Armenia and about the possibility of importing Armenian products to Lebanon. Minister Yeritsyan pointed out that join enterprises and mutual investments may set an excellent example.

Minister Karapetyan briefed Mr. Sabounjian on the situation in Armenia’s agricultural sector and expressed the confidence that the country’s agricultural sector will register double-digit growth this year. Minister Sabounjian informed Minister Karapetyan of a practical cooperation program signed with the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture.
