Spaniards protest against poor economic conditions

Mass rallies against the government’s policy took place in 60 Spanish cities on Sunday.
The organizers of the rallies were about 150 public organizations and trade unions, including trade unions of policemen, workers of the car-building industry, TV workers, builders, medical workers and others.
The rallies were supported by left-wing Italian parties, including the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party.
These rallies were a part of a two-day action of protests against worsening of people’s economic situation in EU countries, which was initiated by the European Confederation of Trade Unions.
