CEC rejected Karen Mejlumyan's and Andreas Ghukasyan's petitions

Today the Constitutional Court of Armenia began a joint consideration of the applications of former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian and Andreas Ghukasyan challenging the decision of the Central Election Commission 62A "Election of the President of the Republic of Armenia" from February 25, 2013.

COP rejected petitions of representative of plaintiff of Raffi Hovannisian, a member of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia Karen Mejlumyan and Andreas Ghukasyan.

Former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian and Andreas Ghukasyan on March 4 applied to the Constitutional Court in accordance with paragraph 3.1 paragraph of Article 100 and the 9th paragraph 101 of Article of the Constitution of Armenia, which gave them the right to challenge the decision of the Central Election Committee 62A on 25.02.2013.
