Nominations start for Yerevan Council of Elders elections

Nominations for the May 5 elections of Yerevan Council of Elders start today, March 11. Political parties are to submit their candidate lists to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) until March 21, 18:00.

Registration of candidate lists will take place between March 21 and 31. The election campaign will kick off on April 7, and will run through May 3. May 4 is a “day of silence” ahead of the vote on May 5.
