"The former chief of criminal investigation main department of RA police, Hovannes Tamanian since nowadays has not pleaded himself guilty and hasn`t recognized his accusing act, his lawyer Vaghinak Gevorgyan told our correspondent yesterday.

Whether Tamanyan gave testifimonies or not, the lawyer didn`t say, only said that the investigation of the case still continued. Hovannes Tamanyan has been under custody from March 24 of this year. He is accused of abusing official power and is kept in the "Yerevan-Kentron" penitentiary", the daily writes.
