On March 9 at the Beijing Language and Culture Center (BLCU) in the frames of International Film Festival of Francophone countries, with the assistance of the Embassy of Armenia in the PRC has been featured Armenian film "Sunrise over Lake Van," directed by Artak Igityan and Vahan Stepanyan.

The film tells about the American Armenian family that survived the Armenian Genocide. Students from various universities in Beijing, as well as Armenians studying in China watched the film. The film was shown in the Armenian language, translated into French, and Chinese. On March 10 the fim was shown in Shanghai.
