28-year-old girl told why she had killed her own child

Yesterday an extraordinary event took place in Abovyan Maternity Hospital. 28-year-old mother had a baby boy, but the next day killed him. Later on the fact of infant's death a criminal case was initiated on Article 106 of the Criminal Code (mother of newborn- murder of her child). In a talk with Lurer.com RA Police media department officer Armen Malkhasyan said.

At Abovyan police station the mother confessed that she had killed her baby because she did not want him to be born.

A forensic examination of child's body is underway.

The results are yet not known.
