RA NA Standing Committees convene sittings

On March 13 at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs presided over by Vardan Ayvazyan the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Standardization”, “On Amending the RA Law on Providing of Unity of Measures”, “On Amending the RA Law on Accreditation” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty”, presented by the RA Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan, was debated. The RA Minister of Economy also presented the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Insurance and Insurance Activity”.

The Committee endorsed these bills, which were urgent by the RA Government. The package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Tax Service” and “On Amending the RA Law on Customs Service”, which presented the Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee adjunct to the RA Government Vakhtang Mirumyan, was also debated. The RA Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Hrant Beglaryan presented the bill “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements”.

The Committee debated and also endorsed the package of bills “On Amending the RA Customs Code” and “On Amending the RA Law on Approval of List of Goods Imported by Organizations and Private Entrepreneurs That Have '0' Customs Duty Rate And Are Not Subject to Excise Taxation and For Which Value Added Tax Shall Not Be Calculated And Collected by Customs Authorities”.

By the authors’ proposal the Committee postponed up to one year the debate of the bills “On Amending the RA Law on Patent Payments”, “On Amending the RA Law on Turnover Tax” and “On Amending the RA Customs Code”. At March 13 sitting the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport presided over by Artak Davtyan debated the issue of holding parliamentary hearings on RA draft law “On Scientific and Scientific Technical Expertise”. As a result of voting, the Committee made a decision to hold parliamentary hearings “On Scientific and Scientific Technical Expertise” in the NA Room N 334 on March 28 at 11:00.
