Real Madrid passed its demanding tests against Manchester United and Barcelona in style. Mourinho stressed that these were good results for Madrid fans, but the coach has not let them go to his head, as evidenced by his comments in 'The Sun'.
"I work at the top level everyday thinking only about the club and never worried about myself," assured the Portuguese gaffer.
Mou also remarked, "It was a good week with three good wins but I've had bigger, better wins," before recalling his treble with Inter.
José Mourinho praised two Manchester United players – Giggs and Scholes. He believes that the level of football they can still produce well after turning thirty is "amazing".
He also added, "I am sure Cris can do it but I don't know yet if he wants to. That is the point with Giggs and Scholes – they still can play and they still want to play. I just hope for the good of football that Cris will want to as well."
