"Zhoghovurd": Kazbeki-Lars highway is closed due to snow

Snow collapse has shut down the Kazbeki-Lars highway.

The situation has reportedly caused many citizens of Armenia to temporarily hire apartments in the neighboring villages or towns. But the authorities in both Georgia and Armenia remain silent on the incident.

The paper tried to check the information from the spokesperson at the Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan to know what steps are being undertaken to resolve the deadlock. But the latter has told the correspondent of the newspaper that everything depends on weather, adding that the Georgian authorities cannot point out to a specific date. The paper later tried to receive comments from the Armenian ambassador to Georgia, Hovhannes Manukyan, but he did not reportedly give any answer to the messages sent.
