Workers at Spanish airline Iberia end week-long strike
Աշխարհ
Workers at Spanish airline Iberia yesterday ended a week-long strike that resulted in hundreds of flights cancelled after reaching a compromise with the employers, IF reports.
The decision was taken after management of the International Airlines Group, which owns Iberia, agreed to reduce the number of jobs cut, and change the terms of wage reductions.
Meanwhile, members of the pilots’ trade union Sepla reject the new terms that havesatisfied most of the Iberia staff.
The airline management has expressed hope that Sepla members will reconsider their decision.
