European Parliament rejects agreed budget

European Parliament has rejected the seven-year budget approved by European leaders in February.

It was decided that the €960 billion budget should be cut by more than 3%.

European heads of states are gathering for another summit in Brussels on Thursday to address the EU's economic difficulties.
