The governor of Vologda Region resigned as a result of State Duma elections in Russia.

Governor of the Vologda Region Vyacheslav Pozgalev has given in his notice of resignation to the president of Russia. He wrote about it in his Twitter page on Monday.
“I gave in my notice to the president,” the governor writes. “I consider it impossible to govern the regions with such a level of trust of the population,” informed ITAR-TASS.
To note, during the last elections of "United Russia" Party, it got 30% of votes in Vologda.
