Famous French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour will give a concert in Moscow on December 12, 5koncertov.ru website reports. He will present songs from his most recent album, "Aznavour Toujours," and greatest hits in the Kremlin.
The concert is set for December 12.
The 87-year-old crooner has written more than 1,000 songs and sold more than 100 million copies of his albums worldwide. Of Armenian ancestry, he has retained close ties with Armenia - two years ago he was appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland and Armenia's permanent delegate to the United Nations. He also has a lot of fans in Russia, where he has performed several times.
Last time Aznavour gave a concert at the Kremlin Palace was in 2007.
