Armenian citizen is arrested in Georgia for smuggling

At the Armenian-Georgian “Sadakho” customs crossing an Armenian citizen was arrested for an attempt of transporting precious stones in an unlawful way. The Income Service of the Georgian Ministry of Finance informed.

“The citizen of Armenia breaching the customs procedures tried to secretly transport precious stones” is said in the announcement.

To decide the price of the stones they were send to expertise.

According to Georgian “newsgeorgia” website, the investigation of the case continues. When the Armenian citizen was arrested in not said in the announcement, factinfo reports.
