World Chess candidates tournament: Aronian draws with Carlsen

The long-awaited FIDE Candidates' Tournament, or rather World Chess Candidates Tournament, as the organizers dubbed it, was officially opened on Thursday night by FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov at IET London, Savoy Place.
The first round was held on Friday, March 15.
Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian played with white pieces against Norwegian Magnus Carlsen. The game ended in a draw.
The tournament will run through April 1.
