Good for Raffi

Yesterday the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan visited the head of "Heritage" party Raffi Hovhannisian, who is on hunger-strike.

Hovik Abrahamyan told the journalists that he first asked about Raffi Hovhannisian’s health, then they discussed some ways "to solve the dispute". "We didn't achieve a consensus, we’ll meet again and continue the discussion. This format is not a solution to the problem, I’m concerned and the present problems of the socio-economic, political spheres must be solved. We highly appreciate Raffi Hovhannisian’s sober solutions, which do not lead the people to bloodshed, but makes attempts to solve all the problems through negotiations. We also see all the problems and are concerned and will try our best to solve the problems."

In a talk with Lurer.com about Speaker's visit and news about a possible compromise, political technologist Karen Kocharyan said, that the compromises of two sides are clear for him.

According to the political technologist, the compromise appeared tstill when Raffi Hovannisian visited presidential residence, and Serzh Sargsyan, in histurn, made a proposal for a new meeting.

It's true, Raffi is a little steep, but, at least, the fact that Raffi Hovannisian goes to the presidential office, the President invites to meeting, then the Republican MPs Margaret Yesayan, Khosrov Harutyunyan, then NA Speaker, all this says is that the plitical culture is changing, and good for Raffi. He changes atmosphere of political fight."

The latter also noted that in his opinion, both sides are willing to compromise.
