"Haykakan Zhamanak": The Chamber of Control in Abovyan Region.

The newspaper writes, "For a long time the rumors circulating in press, that the Chamber of Control implemented checks in Abovyan Region`s municipality, were finally confirmed yesterday. The mayor of Abovyan is Karo Guloyan, PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan`s son-in-law.

CC inspections in Abovyan and Kotayk provinces were planned at the hottest time of flare-ups between RPA-PAP relations. During this time Chamber of Control and its President Ishkhan Zakarian officially denied, that checkings were carried out in Abovyan municipality. Yesterday from the Chamber's press service we were officially informed that with November 7 decision of CC President, from November 14 to December 15 inspections will be held in  Abovyan, Hrazdan and Yeghvard city halls. "The inspection is in the process in Abovyan Region," the Control Chamber reported."
