Russia’s largest air carrier Aeroflot turns 90 on Monday, an anniversary that is inseparably linked to March 17, 1923, when the Russian Society for Voluntary Air Fleet was established.

In a congratulatory message to Aeroflot employees and veterans earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Aeroflot, which currently brings together more than 17,000 professionals, actively implements a spate of innovation projects and enjoys the trust of millions of people in Russia and beyond.
