Azerbaijan applied to ICRC for returning Armenia’s citizens

Azerbaijan’s state commission dealing with prisoners of war and missing applied to the International Committee of the Red Cross for returning two citizens of Armenia arrested for violation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact.

According to Azerbaijani Trend news agency, it was stated by the information department head of ICRC Baku office Ilaha Huseynova. She said the ICRC will implement its mission for returning Armenia’s citizens. The elderly couple has reportedly passed to the Azerbaijani territory on March 16 and arrested by Azerbaijani Defense Ministry representatives.
