Twitter founder Jack Dorsey plans to run for New York mayor.

Dorsey, a 36-year-old businessman whose wealth is estimated at over $1billion, made a statement to this effect in an interview broadcast by the CBS TV channel.

He told the TV host that he loves New York’s energy and “electricity”.
