"Haykakan Zhamanak": Who denied?

The daily writes, "The situation connected with French-Armenian famous singer Charles Aznavour`s scandalous statements in Moscow yesterday became more confused.  

Video shots appeared in Internet where, according to Life Showbiz.ru, Aznavour announces his well known assessments.

The incident occurred during a press conference. "Armenia is currently undergoing an internal genocide. I think it is politically unacceptable. Not letting Armenia breathe, its government deprives the country of young people – they are leaving the country. In this regard, the problem becomes already not political but a universal one.  And it should be immediately resolved," Life Showbiz.ru quoted Aznavour words. 

At late previous night Armenpress published a text in which it was mentioned that they had asked the singer to comment on his recent statements and Aznavour answered that he had not said such a thing and it was probably a translation error. Yesterday we officially turned to Armenpress news agency to clear up whether their correspondent talked to Aznavur personally or not. "The question was sent to Aznavour office in written form and was received the relevant written response," we were answered in written form from Armenpress."
