Presentation of a book on Artsakh issues in French National Assembly.

The presentation of the book “Artsakh: Nagorno-Karabakh in the basis of regional peace and security” published in French language was held by the help of the Armenian Embassy in France on December 13 at the House of Bourbon.
The authors are Vladimir Kazimirov (Russia), Sergey Minasyan (Armenia), Gerard Gergeryan (France). The introduction was written by Nikos Ligeros (Greece). The event was organised by France based Chobandyan Institute, “Armenian Observation Station” organization and SIGEST publishing house. The event was sponsored by Chairman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French NA, Deputy Chairman of French delegation to PACE, MP of the French NA Francois Rochebloine.
A number of issues pertinent to the political resolution of the Artsakh conflict and negotiation process in the context of modern geopolitical developments, within the frames of international law and Kosovo precedent, particularly, are presented in the book. It is envisaged for specialists, politicians dealing with the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and for wide circles of readers.
French National Assembly MPs, diplomats, politicians, students, journalists, intellectuals, a lot of representatives of Armenian community structures and mass media were present at the presentation. French National Assembly MPs Francois Rochebloine, Jacques Remiller, Manager of the Armenian Observation Station Robert Haydabiryan, jurisprudent Gerard Gergeryan, President of Chobanyan Institute Jean Varoujan Sirapyan made comments and presented their own viewpoints participating in active debate-discussions over the publications included in the collection and actual problems pertinent to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
