17 trapped in Polish mine

In Poland an earthquake has caused the Rudan mine located 400 kilometers from Warsaw to collapse trapping 17 miners inside according to a representative of the mine operator, Lenta.ru reports.
Local media reports that there are 18 miners still in the mine and that at the time of the collapse there were 42 people in the mine but 24 of them managed to evacuate the mine in time.
The trapped miners are reportedly at a depth of 600 meters and there has been no contact with them for at least two hours.
