The Venezuelan government has decided to suspend its dialogue with the U.S. on improving bilateral relations. This was announced on Wednesday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Elias Haua.
"I hope the United States will correct their mistakes and stop their interference into the affairs of Venezuela," he said.
According to the Foreign Minister, the dialogue will be suspended until it becomes more clear, what exactly the relationship is that the United States wishes to have with Venezuela.
Normal diplomatic and consular relations between the two countries are still in force, he said.
