"Zhoghovurd": Sunflower oil in response to hay thread.

"RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan announced yesterday that according to the government decision Armenian poor families will each be provided with 3 bottles of sunflower oil on the occasion of New Year (Perhaps this is the Republican Party's charity in response to the PAP`s distributed hay thread). "This is a pre-holiday assistance to 116 thousand poor families in Armenia, and this support will be continuous," Prime Minister said. "Zhoghovurd" daily managed to find out that the date of the assistance had simply expired. The thing is that the government is going to distribute vegetable oil to socially insecure class provided  as humanitarian assistance to Armenia by RF government in 2009 with the help of RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. Taking into account the fact that oil has got maximum two years` expiry date, we can already imagine what kind of New Year gift the poor will receive. This incident, to say the least, is an irony towards the most needy and socially most vulnerable group. In normal countries the discovery of such facts would be followed by officials` resignations. While in our country Tigran Sargsyans till holds his office," the newspaper writes.
