"Haykakan Zhamanak": Obvious threat.

The newspaper writes, "If we believe the data of Russian "Nezavisimaya Gazeta" newspaper, in the coming future the Republic of Armenia may be involved in a global war, absolutely having no connection with the motive of the war.

The Internal Affairs, which traditionally represents the positions of the Russian General Staff, wrote that in the coming future the U.S. and Israel will strike on Iran, in response of which Russia will undertake actions from Gyumri 102nd military base in Armenia, presumably against Georgia. How real is the practical use of the scenario described above, is hard to say now. However, publication of the article can be regarded as Russian general staff`s message to the U.S. and Israel on the occasion that if they take military actions against Iran, Russia will undertake military actions against Georgia. It is a media war so far, the implementation of which, unfortunately, can not be excluded. In any case, the newspaper claimed that the Gyumri 102nd Russian military base is preparing for concrete actions."
