Georgian citizen wanted by Interpol detained in France

Forty six year old Vakhtang Gvritishvili, wanted under an Interpol red notice, was detained in France on March 19 on information delivered by Interpol's Georgian National Bureau.
The Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend on Wednesday that Gvritishvili is accused of kidnapping for ransom, robbery, the murder of two or more people with aggravating circumstances and cruelty.
At present, Vakhtang Gvritishvili has been placed in prison on an extradition warrant in France. Procedures are being undertaken against him.
