The company credits its popularity on the fast spread of mobile Internet devices.

YouTube was launched in 2005 and bought by Google for $1.6 billion in 2006.

At present it’s the world’s third most visited web site. Initially designed as an amateur video hosting, YouTube now also hosts professional video, including films and TV shows.
