Twitter marks its 7th anniversary. The first tweet was published on 21st March 2006 by its creator Jack Dorsey.

There are 200 million Twitter users who post 400 million comments a day. The service is available in 28 different languages.
The number of people who visit the blog and post there using mobile has increased to 60 percent in the world, while in Britain this figure is 80 percent.
