"Chorord Inknishkhanutyun": Gagik Beglaryan was pardoned.

The newspaper writes, "The leader of Republican Party of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, yesterday participated in the meeting of Sayat Nova 2 and Metaks 1 initial organizations of RPA’s Central Regional Organization.The conference elected the delegates to RPA’s 13th congress to be held on February-March. The interesting is the fact, that delegates elected were Republican President Serzh Sargsyan, RPA Executive Body member Gagik Beglaryan, RPA Central Regional Organization member Hasmik Vardanyan.

It is worth mentioning that Gagik Beglatyan for a long time had boycotted the RPA executive body sessions after his resignation. The latter simply didn`t attend the meetings, and the Republican party press secretary Eduard Sharmazanov constantly had to spread disinformation that Beglaryan was out of the Republic. Meanwhile just in the days of NA sessions Beglaryan came out of his home in the evenings and walked in Yerevan streets.

Beglaryan started to attend the meetings lately, more exactly, from the last days of October, when former Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan presented his resignation application. RPA some members said that they hadn`t seen Beglaryan in such a good mood for a long time. Then the news were circulating that Beglatyan would be taken to the executive body and just for this reason President Serzh Sargsyan met Gagik Beglaryan. Moreover, according to "CHI" information, Beglarian has started to see Serzh Sargsyan more frequently. Rumors are spread, that they have come to a conclusion, that after the upcoming elections Beglaryan will get a job in the executive body then will head the RPA list in Yerevan city council elections. In other words he will become Yerevan Mayor. Let`s hope that the events will not develop according to this scenario."
