Armenian citizens detained at Rome airport will return home

Representatives of Armenia’s Embassy in Italy visited on Friday 13 Armenian citizens stuck at the international airport of Rome.

They assured that experienced no problems with food, movement in transit zone, medical aid and communication.

Chief of Police said the citizens of Armenia were detained due to travel document-related problems. He assured their rights would be respected fully.

Thirteen Armenian citizens are expected to return to Yerevan by Alitalia flight tonight.
