Armenian Press
For over a year, according to the information, published by the Committee on State Revenues, the price of gas imported to Armenia is $ 230-240 per 1,000 cubic meters, however, before the presidential election the price of gas was not increased.
According to the newspaper, now the authorities are trying to introduce a new tariff. On the one hand, it has to meet "Gazprom" as a shareholder, and may increase negligible. On the other hand, a significant rise in price of gas may deepen social tensions in the country. So now the option is in the stage of discussion, through which gas will be sold to the public at 170-190 drams, instead of the current 132 drams.
