Medvedev prolongs Russia-US agreements on cooperation in space research until 2020

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order to extend the Russian-US agreement on cooperation in the use and research of outer space until 2020.
The agreement came into force in 1992. The United States prolonged the agreement earlier still.
Moscow feels the agreement is in line with Russia’s interests and will contribute to an efficient implementation of joint Russian-US space projects, including the one concerning the exploration of the Moon and Mars, Moscow feels.
