Messi: "Argentina's national team is getting closer to its goal."

Argentine striker Lionel Messi was very pleased with the game and the team victory over Venezuelan team in the World Series, according to the Argentine press.

"We played against a team that was ready for our actions andwas  looking for a chance to counterattack. But we showed composure and patience, trying to score our first goal. Every time we get closer to our goal," Messi said.

Regarding his partner in attack Gonzalo Higuain, who became the author of two goals, Messi said: "Gonzalo - very strong footballer. Every match we understand each other better."
