"To not win is a severe punishment"

Vicente del Bosque couldn't hide his deep disappointment at what was an unexpected draw. Only once did Finland see the Spanish goal, but this proved to be enough. "I am disappointed because what happened seemed impossible. We dominated the whole match and were well organised on the pitch but in the end we were not rewarded."
"To have not won this match is a severe punishment," confessed the coach, who gave praise to the Finnish defence. Finland had no opportunity to counterattack. We dominated the game so much that our defence began to think that all we had to do was attack. But unfortunately we were not successful in attack".
Del Bosque reminded the public that "Spain remains confident and self sufficient, we have a great team and winning in France is possible".
The coach confirmed his disappointment at the setback of Jordi Alba, who finished the match injured: "I thought about sticking with three defenders, but in the end I decided to bet on stability".
